A cookie is a small data file placed by the Website on the visitor’s terminal equipment (computer, mobile device) which enables the proper operation of the Website and the analysis of visitor behaviour.
The placing of strictly necessary cookies is lawful without consent; their legal basis is the legitimate interest of the Controller under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (ensuring the proper operation of the Website). For all other cookies – in particular statistical and analytical cookies – the prior, informed and freely given consent of the data subject is required (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).

The purpose of the measurement is to obtain information on audience numbers, traffic sources and aggregated demographics in order to develop the Website. As a result of the measurement the Controller sees aggregated, statistical reports and does not learn the identity of individual visitors.
Cookies set in the browser may be deleted at any time, and the placing of cookies may be blocked in advance in the browser settings. If strictly necessary cookies are blocked, certain functions of the Website – in particular online appointment booking – will not work properly.

Such transfers take place only where the visitor has consented to the relevant cookies.
8. Data security measures
In accordance with Article 32 GDPR, the Controller implements the technical and organisational measures necessary having regard to the state of the art, the costs of implementation and the nature and risks of the processing, in particular:
the Website and all data traffic on it are accessible over an encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connection with a valid, automatically renewed certificate;
a web application firewall (WAF) and a malware scanning security solution operate on the Website, detecting and blocking unauthorised access attempts;
access to the administration interface can be protected by two-factor authentication, and passwords are stored exclusively in encrypted (hashed) form;
queries aimed at enumerating user accounts are blocked at system level, and the XML-RPC interface is not accessible;
regular, automated backups of the Website and its database are made by a backup plugin and by the hosting provider, and the backups are stored on servers within the European Union;
the engine, theme and plugins of the Website receive regular security updates;
personal data is accessible only to those who need it in order to perform their tasks, and only to the extent necessary.
In the event of a personal data breach, the Controller shall notify the supervisory authority without undue delay and, at the latest, within 72 hours, unless the breach is unlikely to result in a risk. Where the breach is likely to result in a high risk to the rights of data subjects, the Controller shall also inform the data subjects.
9. Rights of data subjects
In connection with the processing of their personal data, data subjects have the following rights:
Right of access (Article 15 GDPR): they may request information as to whether we process their personal data and, if so, may request a copy of the data processed together with information on the purpose of the processing, the categories of data, the recipients, the retention period and their rights.
Right to rectification (Article 16): they may request the rectification of inaccurate personal data and the completion of incomplete data.
Right to erasure, the “right to be forgotten” (Article 17): they may request the erasure of their data where it is no longer needed, where they have withdrawn their consent, or where the processing is unlawful. Erasure may not be requested in respect of data the processing of which is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation (in particular accounting documents).
Right to restriction of processing (Article 18): they may request the restriction of processing where they contest the accuracy of the data, where the processing is unlawful, or where they have objected to the processing.
Right to data portability (Article 20): they may receive the data processed by automated means on the basis of consent or a contract in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, and may request its transmission to another controller.
Right to object (Article 21): they may object to processing based on legitimate interest. In that case we shall cease the processing unless there are compelling legitimate grounds which override the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject.
Right to withdraw consent (Article 7(3)): consent given to processing based on consent – in particular to statistical cookies – may be withdrawn at any time, without restriction or justification and free of charge. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
Requests may be submitted using the contact details of the Controller given in section 2. We shall comply with the request without undue delay and at the latest within 1 month of its receipt. Having regard to the complexity and the number of requests, this time limit may be extended by a further 2 months, of which we shall inform the data subject within 1 month of receipt of the request. Information and action are free of charge; in the case of manifestly unfounded or excessive, repetitive requests we may charge a reasonable fee or refuse to act on the request. Before complying with a request we may ask for confirmation of the requester’s identity.
